next_monday is based on the principle of meaningful comparison of musical works that are rarely heard in the same context. Here, academic music coexists with forgotten mysteries, a modern school of composition engages in dialogue with deep archaism, and historical curiosities become a starting point for new meanings.
Each next_monday concert is a kind of ritual in which the sound space creates a special atmosphere.
An important part of next_monday is the involvement of musicians who are able to go beyond the usual academic performance and feel the philosophical depth of the works performed. Participants include Petr Aidu (piano), Ivan and Ksenia Pochekina (violin), Petr Kondrashin (cello), Grigory Krotenko (double bass), Sergey Yeletsky (clarinet), Leonid Voznesensky (French horn), Talgat Sarsembayev (bassoon).
next_monday is a music action, meditation, experience and encounter. Each event offers the viewer a new perspective of perception, destroying the usual boundaries between the academic and the experimental, between ritual and concert, between the past and the future.
